Bella Donna is the premiere belly dance troupe in Houston, Texas. They perform five nights a week at a variety of venues and were voted Houston's best belly dancers by the Houston Press. They were featured in the International Academy of Middle Eastern Dance's recent "Belly Dance-O-Rama" and opened the show for the famous Dina of Egypt's debut in the US. The members of Bella Donna have taught and performed all over the world.
They have traveled the
country and taken classes with such renowned dancers as Sahra
Saeeda, Shareen El Safy, Angelika Nemeth, Jillina, Suhaila Salimpour,
Delilah, Horacio and Beata Cifuentes, Afrtiah, Jalilah, Jihan
Jamal, Cassandra, Vashti, Z. Helene, Leila Gamal, Karen Barbee,
Zaina Ali, Zahra Zuhair, Amel Tafsout, Samara, Camelia, Momo Kadous,
Magdy El Leisy, Aida Noor, Nagwa Fouad, Mohammed Khalil, Mamoud
Reda, Farida Fahamy, and Dina of Egypt.
